If you drive a special-type vehicle that isn't a forklift on the road, you must have a Rollers (R), Tracks (T), or Wheels (W) endorsement on your driver licence.
RollersThe Rollers (R) endorsement is for vehicles that run on rollers.
TracksThe Tracks (T) endorsement is for vehicles that run on self-laying tracks.
WheelsThe Wheels (W) endorsement is for vehicles that run on wheels that aren't forklift, passenger vehicles, tractors, fire engines, trades vehicles or recovery service vehicles.

You are able to do all three of the endorsements at the same time or if you prefer you can do just one or two in any combination.

The licence endorsement and the licence class system work together, your licence has to cover both the type of vehicle and the weight of vehicle you are operating. The class of licence will depend on the type of vehicle, its weight and the speed at which you are driving.
